Documentary and brand-film director in Glasgow. Nine years of making films about people who work with their hands: shipyard riggers, whisky coopers, trail runners on the West Highland Way. I shoot black-and-white tests on every job before I commit to a grade (that is the frame in my profile photo), and I cut and design my own titles so the film that leaves my desk is finished. Recent work includes a 6-minute Kestrel film on Highland ultra runners, a Ferrow workshop documentary and a Bastion Athletics winter campaign shot in a Cairngorms whiteout.
