Period and heritage-brand film director in London. I studied history at Durham before finding out that I preferred filming the past to writing about it. Five years on, I shoot candlelit, costume-led films for heritage brands, tailors and distillers. The frame in my profile photo is from a Regency-set piece where every light was a real flame: a hundred and forty candles and one very nervous props assistant. I direct, shoot on an FX6 with vintage glass and cut the films myself. Recent clients: Keystone, Copperleaf, Hearthly and a Bastion Athletics heritage capsule.
